• Responsible to the Chief Physiotherapist for the provision and maintenance of an efficient and effective physiotherapy service in the assigned area while maintaining a high standard of knowledge, assessment and techniques.

• Responsible for the organization of the work load and supervision of the physiotherapy staff in the assigned section of the service.

• Responsible to the Chief for ensuring a high standard of record keeping.

• Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current developments and new techniques in physiotherapy.

• Responsible to give patient and family education.

This post requires a physiotherapist with specialized knowledge and experience in the rehabilitation of patients in at least one of the following diagnostic category such as patients with physical disabilities due to spinal cord injury, head injury, stroke, amputation, chronic pain, and sports injury, etc.  Strong emphasis is placed on the multidisciplinary approach both in selection and treatment of these patients.  Experience as a senior physiotherapist is desirable.
