Job Description
- Abide by all related hospital wide policies and procedures, hospital by-laws and those specific to the department.
- At all times, adhere to the confidentiality code of conduct, protecting patients' right to privacy.
- Participate in the on-call duties as required by the department.
- Carry-out routine ultrasound room, equipment and department are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that the ultrasound room, equipment and department are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Follow the regulation of radiation protection strictly to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation hazards.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current developments and new techniques and changes within the profession.
- Report any equipment fault to Senior Radiographer with accurate details of malfunction.
- Ensure that fire prevention regulations are observed at all times.
- Participate in the Department's Continuing Education Program.
- Fulfill the requirement of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to continuing professional education.
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee's knowledge, skills and abilities.
