أخصائي أشعة - الأشعة التشخيصية والتصوير الطبي / RADIOGRAPHER - RADIODIAGNOSTICS & MEDICAL IMAGING

1. Assigned in any modalities (X-ray, Breast Ultrasound, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, MRI, Angio and Nuclear Medicine selected by Superintendent Radiographer).
2. Abide by all related PSMMC-Wide Policies & Procedures, Hospital By-Laws and those specific to the department.
3. At all times, adhere to the confidentiality code of conduct, protecting patients right to privacy.
4. Carry out routine radiological examinations according to agreed procedures and perform special radiological procedures under the supervision of senior/trained staff. Undertake training in the above procedure as required by the department.
5. Ensure that the rooms, equipment and department are kept clean and tidy at all times.
6. Ensure that patients and staff are protected from unnecessary hazards due to radiation. To be responsible at all times for patients and visitors welfare and comfort.
7. Keep abreast of current development, new techniques and changes within the radiographic profession.

8. Respond to and report any equipment faults to a Senior Radiographer, Deputy Superintendent Radiographer \"Supervisor of the Section\" with accurate details of malfunction.
9. Attend briefings and departmental staff meetings.
10. Apply quality control principles in modality.
11. Participate in the Department's Continuing Education Program
12. Advise on opportunities for improvement to the effectiveness and safety of the service offered and for the cost reduction. Advise on any safety hazards and suggest improvement measures.
13. Work during weekend, night shift, on-call shift and late shift
14. Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned by special modality within the realm of the employee's knowledge, skills and abilities.
