Duties and Responsibilities

 

 

  • Arrange and document regular training to all staff in health care facility on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Tools.

 

 

  • Implement CQI concepts in all work processes through continuous education and training.

 

 

  • Provide on job training according to work needs and requirements to improve processes of work and quality control

 

 

  • Regular training in Patient Safety Goals (6 goals identified by JCI).

 

 

  • Monitor and document Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in all departments.

 

 

  • Participate in the staffing plan for the health care facility which should be reviewed regularly according to requirements and changes in workload and services in MHS facility.

 

 

  • Empower staff to improve processes of work.

 

 

  • Regular training for quality improvement (CQI) facilitators in all departments to improve work processes.

 

 

  • Monitor and document training logs for Infection Control Programme.

 

 

  • Monitor and document training logs for safety programmes.

 

 

  • Monitor and document logs for training of staff on medical equipments in relevant departments.

 

 

  • Revision of Clinical Privileginig granted to medical staff according to their credentials and experience every two years.

 

 

  • Perform staff satisfaction surveys to improve quality and work process (at least once/year)

 

 

  • Arrange, Monitor and document logs of regular training on Evidence Based Health Care (EBHC) tools for all Medical and Paramedical Staffs.

 

 

  • Develop policies and procedures on staff development in consultation with the CQI & PS Director.

 

 

  • Monitor and ensure effective implementation of Staff Development Programs in the MHS facility.

 

 

  • Provide support and act as a consultant to the MHS facility on staff development.

 

 

  • Ensure availability of training facilities and resource materials.

 

 

  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.

 

 

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the CQI Director.

 

 

Skills

 

 

  • Bachelor in Health Services Administration or equivalent.

 

 

  • Desirable – Degree level or equivalent.

 

 

  • Desirable – Qualification in quality.

 

 

  • At least 2 (Two) years experience in a similar role in a multispecialty hospital.

 

 

  • Excellent current working proficiency in microcomputer operations including word processing, spreadsheet, and database management skills and graphic presentations

 

 

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

 

 

  • Ability to communicate in Arabic on a conversational level preferred.

 

 

Education

Quality Management/Quality Certification.
