Demonstrates knowledge of the physiological changes during the antenatal/postnatal period

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in the assessment and care of patients in the antenatal/ postnatal period.

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in identifying deviations from the normal antenatal/postnatal period.

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in monitoring and caring for high risk postnatal patients.

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in preparation, attending and post operative care of patients for caesarian section

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in managing obstetric emergencies patients.

Demonstrates knowledge and competence in resuscitation of the newborn

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in monitoring high risk gynecological patients.

• Demonstrates knowledge and competence in monitoring high risk post operative gynecological patients.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Nursing Diploma of three years program.

• Valid license to practice from the country of origin

• Must have Saudi Council Registration and 3 primary source verification (Dataflow) education, License from country of origin and Employment.

• Post-basic certificate in area of responsibility is preferred.

• BLS Certified.

• Posses other certification pertinent to area of expertise, i.e. NRP, PALS, ACLS, ATLS, sedation where applicable.

• Post-basic certificate in critical care and OB/Gynae - desirable

• Posses other certification pertinent to area of expertise - NRP, ACLS, ATLS where applicable.

• Minimum of five years of experience in general nursing.

• Three years experience in critical area or OB/Gynae an advantage

• Good interpersonal skills and communication.

• Ability to assume responsibility and can work independently.

• Critical thinker, assertive and self motivated.

• Three years experience in current area.

• Ability to assume responsibility and can work independently.

• Minimum of five years of experience in general nursing.

• Three years experience in critical area and OB/Gynae.
