Duties and Responsibilities
Job Summary
Responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of all educational activities within the Paediatric Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery Ward, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided to the patients.
Education/Licensure
Essential: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Nursing, minimum 3 years duration (Western, Saudi, Malaysia, South Africa) or Prince Sultan Cardiac Centre Diploma Program (Saudi).
Bachelor Degree of Nursing (Filipino and Eastern Europe).
Essential: BLS and PALS certifications.
Essential: Current licensure (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee’s country of origin.
Essential: License from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Desirable: Post graduate qualification in Cardiac Nursing or Nursing Education.
Professional Experience
Essential: Minimum four (4) years recent Pediatric Cardiac nursing experience working in a medium to large size healthcare facility, with two (2) years in a senior staff nurse or nurse educator role.
