Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform vein puncture and micro-sample collection (capillary puncture) of blood samples, which includes sole responsibility for ensuring proper patient identification.
- Performs and documents daily Quality Control according to Laboratory and Section Policies.
- Performs and documents daily weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance of all instrumentation and equipment.
- Communicates to Section and Unit Supervisor on any Quality Control abnormalities and equipment malfunctions.
- Communicates to Section or Unit Supervisor on any Quality Control abnormalities and equipment malfunctions.
- Communicates to Section or Unit Supervisor any apparent inventory shortage.
- Perform lab tests pm received specimens.
