Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of recruitment.
- Prepares written reports as requested.
- Advises the HR Director on all matters pertaining to personnel.
- Liaises with Department Heads with regards to departmental vacancies.
- Act as a Link person with the CQI & PS Department in an ongoing effort to promote a quality environment within the Hospital and Department.
- Responsible for informational and promotional literature for Hospital employees as required. Updated information to be sent to all International Recruitment Agencies.
- Ensures Orientation Programme is given to all new employees.
- Ensures explanation of IPR form is given to all new employees during orientation.
- Interprets Terms and Conditions of employment.
- Maintain an efficient personnel staff filing system.
- Creates and maintains new recruitment documents as required to assist in the recruitment process.
- Prepares various reports for submission to Assistant Hospital Director.
- Attends various meetings on behalf of the HR Director.
- Responsible for ensuring that confidentiality is maintained at all times by the staff of the HR Department.
- Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of HR Policies and Procedures.
- Liaises with International Recruitment Agencies regarding ongoing recruitment issues.
- Assists in the creation and amendment of Job Descriptions as required.
- Initiates and implements new Recruitment Strategies as required.
- Preparation and sending information to all New Recruitment Agencies.
- Initial interviewing of local staff and arranging interviews with relevant Departments.
- Responsible for continued updating of the website.
- Assistance with training and development of Human Resources Staff as required (eg. Introduction of New Computer Software, CQI & PS, etc.).
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the scope of his/her knowledge, skills and utilities.
