Duties and Responsibilities
- Arranges and prepares housekeeping trolley at the beginning and at the end of duty.
- Collects all rubbish in assigned area and clean and disinfect waste receptacles.
- Disposes hospital waste according to waste disposal policy.
- Dilutes disinfectant solution by following correct dilution.
- Performs daily cleaning of all patient room and auxiliary areas.
- Performs stripping and waxing floors all over the hospital.
- Removes and change curtain according to the schedules given.
- Reports Hazardous Material Spill to Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Completes c leaning checklist on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Attends meeting, training and lecture when required.
- Participates in Hospital Safety Program.
Skills
- Must be able to speak, write, read and understand English.
- Able to operate housekeeping equipment / machines.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
