Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operative electrocardiograph equipment to record the electromotive variations in heart muscle actions.
2. Prepare patient for electrocardiogram by explaining testing procedures and fastening electrodes to specific areas of arms, legs and chest.
3. Enter patient information into electrocardiograph including Medical Records Number and Patient’s Name.
4. Enter patient information into electrocardiograph including Medical Records Number and Patient’s Name.
5. Mount electrocardiograms for interpretation by Physician; code and distribute EKG Data; record and file information relating to tests performed.
6. Clean, adjust and perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
7. Assist in the training of new personnel.
8. Perform other related duties and applicable tasks whenever required

Specialized Knowledge:

1. Computer Literacy.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Skills in Data Coding (General), ECG / EKG Recording
