Dental Surgery Assistant (DSA).

2.1 Responsible for sterilization, preparation and presentation of instruments for each patient and each clinical procedure. 
2.2 Provides direct chair-side assistance during all clinical procedures in the dental surgery in the Operating Theatre for Oral Surgery if required. 

2.3 Prepares notes and records treatments carried out as directed by Clinician, as well as being responsible for any clinical duties associated with surgery management, including preparation of medical records clinic lists. 

2.4 Takes and develops radiograph as directed by the Clinician, including Orthopentomographs and filing of same. 

2.5 Prepares the full range of consumables and instruments and maintains stock to the necessary levels of the Dentist. 

Hygienist: 

2.6 Cleans and polish teeth. Remove plaque and calculus deposits and stain from the supra and subgingival surface of teeth. Polishes restorations (fillings). 

2.7 Applies materials in order to reduce the risk of tooth decay, i.e. fluoride gels and solution and the fissure sealing of teeth.

1. Self motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field. 

2. Ability to get on with the job and people. 

3. A good working standars of spoken and written English is essential.
