Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Carries out the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients and to do investigational and therapeutic procedures whenever necessary (Lumbar Puncture, Pleural or Peritoneal tapping, joint aspiration…..etc.).
2. With Renal Diseases, including doing procedures (as Kidney Biopsy, Central Venous Catheter, Peritoneal Catheters Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis Hemofiltration and Plasmapheresis.
3. Offer consultation to other units or departments.
4. Takes on-call duty with the Internists.
5. Participates in teaching of training of the Medical Junior Staff, Medical Students, and other Staff who need.
6. Undertake and participates in research projects in collaboration with Medical and Paramedical Staff as appropriate.
7. Participates in the administration of the department as allocated by Chief of Medicine.
8. Participates in the Quality Improvement activities in the department.

Specialized Knowledge:

• Background in Internal Medicine different subspecialties (Mandatory).

• Experience in teaching and clinical research (desirable).

• Computer Skills (desirable).
