Computer Programmer / مبرمج حاسب آلي

Coordinates with the System Analyst about the design specification of the program required in the hospital.

Develops, writes, modifies or enhances micro-computer application programs according to design specifications using commercial software or program development packages.

Conducts system testing and implementation, ensuring the quality of the programs developed.

Conducts training for both user departments and MIS Department
staff, as required.

Authors written procedures, user manuals and other system
documentations as maybe required in the system development and implementation.

Participates in CQI & PS activities, including systems control'
systems improvement and staff development.

Performs other duties/tasks within the realm of the individual's
knowledge, skills and abilities, as required.

Must be self-starter who is also comfortable in a team environment.

Must be capable of working independently to accomplish time critical tasks.

Fluent in spoken and written English.

Must have excellent presentation skills.

Demonstrates good analytical and logic skills.

Knowledge of latest windows based operating system and graphic
user interface (GUl) programming languages (Visual FoxPro, Visual Basic) with background in Oracle Database and Developer 2000.
