ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT - HR

• To assist in the input of all payroll related data ensuring its accuracy and compliance with the terms and conditions.

• Assists with verifying the computation of service award, termination payments and locum payments, ensuring that all advised deductions have been made in accordance with the terms and conditions.

• Assist in the preparation of overtime billing/locum billing/travel cost billing/ service award billing to ensure that all back up documentation are in place.

• Assists with employee queries regarding the status of their pay.

• Assists staff in opening bank accounts.

• Prepares certificate of employment in Arabic as a requirement of 2.5 above.

• Assists in auditing timesheets upon submission to the Finance Department to ensure that all back up documentation are in place.

• Assists in preparation, distribution of individual pay slips.

• Assists in the distribution of monthly departmental timesheet listings to all Head of Departments.

• To carry out any project or other analytical work required by the Head of Payroll and Payroll Supervisor.

• To deputize for the Senior Accountant during his absence.

• Acountancy qualification and 2 years practical experience.

• Computer literate and competent on Window’s based financial and other packages.

• Must demonstrate the ability to take on responsibility and be able to support the Payroll Supervisor in all areas.

• Experience in the Middle East would be an advantage, although not essential.

• Fluency in English is essential.
