3.1 Performs ultrasound scan examinations requested by medical staff according to
agreed policies and procedures and within accepted safety guidelines recommended
by the A.I.U.M. and F.D.A. associated with reduced transmission power and
examination time without affecting diagnostic quality.
3.2 Performs ultrasound examinations including obstetric and gynaecological,
intracavity and Doppler examinations.
3.3 Arranges patient schedules, preparations and transport if necessary.
3.4 Produces final report of ultrasound findings in the format specified bythe Director
of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
3.5 Is responsible for the correct production and documentation of ultrasound images
and evaluates accuracy and technical quality ofultrasound scans.
