3.1       Prepares the full range of consumables and instruments and maintains stock to the necessary levels for the dentist.

3.2       Is responsible for preparation and presentation of instruments for each patient and each clinical procedure.

3.3       Provides direct chair-side assistant during all clinical procedures in the dental surgery or in the operating theatre for oral surgery if required.

3.4       Prepares notes and records treatment carried out as directed by clinicians as well as being responsible for any clinical duties associated with surgery, including preparation of medical records clinic lists.

3.5       Takes and develops radiographs as directed by the clinician including orthopentomographs.

3.6       Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives in SAFH.

• 7.1 Self-motivated and with awareness of current trends in the field.

• 7.2 Ability to work in a multi-national environment.

• 7.3 Ability to speak, write and read Arabic and English.
