محاضر تقنية أجهزة طبية - Biomedical Technology Lecturer

- Prepare and deliver all teaching materials for Biomedical Technology, including notes, hand-outs, references, tapes and slides.

- Undertake a teaching load not exceeding 20 class contact hours per week.

- Assist senior staff in the preparation and review of course curricula.

- Supervise and/or invigilate mid-semester and end-of-semester examinations.

- Prepare and assess all homework, class laboratory tests and exercises and examinations.

- Maintain proper records of all assessments and to provide such information as may be required by the head, including the preparation of student progress reports.

- Keep a record of student attendance at all classes, in accordance with current College Policies.

- Maintain high standards of student discipline in all classes.

- To liaise with the Laboratory Superintendent regarding provisioning for laboratory classes.

- Maintain safety in laboratory and clinical sessions and to warn senior College staff of any new hazards.

- Be active in research and community service.

- Prepare necessary reports for the accreditation process.

- Participate in scholarly activities of the College.

- Attend departmental meetings and participate fully in all department activities.

- Assist in the induction of new students and to participate in the student tutor systems.

- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.

-Knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques including curriculum design principles, learning theory, group and individual teaching techniques, design of individual development plans, and test design principles.

-Knowledge of design techniques, principles, tools and instruments involved in the production and use of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawing, and models.

-Knowledge of electrical circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

-Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural environment.

-Respect department confidentiality code of practice.

-Ability to prioritize workload on a daily/weekly basis and meet deadlines.

-Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
