Duties and Responsibilities
1.Prepare the operating rooms and equip them with the necessary equipment and materials before starting each process.
2.Prepare the area of operations according to the doctor's instructions and help prepare the patient for surgery.
3.Determine the needles, machines, gauze, and towels used in each operation before and after the operation, before closing the wound and recording the number.
4.Assisting the doctor during the operation by providing the equipment.
5.Supervising the cleaning and disinfection of operating rooms.
6.Operating the medical equipment in the operating rooms and reporting any malfunctions occurring in them.
7.Place the biopsies, samples and tissues in sterilized containers and send them to the laboratory and record the necessary information thereon.
8.Recording patient information in the records of operations for statistical purposes.
9.Assistance in transporting the patient after completion of the operation.
10.Apply the principles and rules of public safety before and during surgery.
11.Perform any other tasks assigned to him within his competence.
Skills
Good all-round experience in clinical and operative surgery.
