فني سلامة ومكافحة حرائق - Fire and Safety Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Tests hospital and residential fire alarm and hydrant systems and carries out replacements and other adjustments under the direction of the Fire and Safety Officer or Maintenance Engineer.

• Ensures that all paperwork in connection with the above is completed as appropriate.

• Assists the Fire and Safety Officer in his duties as appropriate and necessary.

• Reports to Fire and Safety Officer ASAP any fault or malfunction which has a bearing on fire and safety.

1. Specialized knowledge:

•  Knowledge in fire equipment and system
• Able to check and repair system

1. Personal Qualities/Skills:

• Knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Knowledge of Hospital Standards in U.S. or U.K
• Maintenance of sprinkler and smoke systems
• Knowledge and experience in testing all types of fire extinguishers
• Basic computer knowledge

Education/Licensure:

Diploma in Fire and Safety/Fire Fighting from accredited school to become certified by the state in the field of fire safety.
