Duties and Responsibilities
3.1 Performs fault detection and correction of any air conditioning plant detailed to him
by the HVAC supervisors.
3.2 Performs PPM tasks as assigned by the HVAC supervisor
3.3 Ensures that all PPM tasks are completed timely and as the procedures dictate.
3.4 Liaises with hospital staffto schedule work in patient areas.
3.5 Performs housing maintenance (HVAC) as directed by senior staff.
3.6 Protects and upholds the rights ofthe patients and their families.
3.7 Participates in quality improvement and patient safety activities and attends quality
improvement educational activities as appropriate.
3.8 Adheres to infection control guidelines.
3.9 Maintains confidentialitv at all times.
