Duties and Responsibilities
Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and
Regulations of the Medical Staff and those specific to the department.
3.2. Provides the highest attainable standard of diagnostic examinations.
3.3. Responsible for the implementation of radiation protection procedures.
3.4. Responsible for consultation with medical staff on the radiological investigation of
their patients in order to decide whether any examination requested is appropriate or

Radiodiagnostics & Medical Imaging, and is expected to have sufficient breadth of
training to undertake this rotation.
