Duties and Responsibilities:Conducts ward rounds on a regular basis.Resolves all pharmaceutical problems emanating from ward rounds.Monitors prescription and medication errors for In-patients.Supervises the correction for all prescription and dispensing errors and take appropriate actions to prevent such occurrences in the futures.Formulates standard operating policies and procedures for Clinical Pharmacy practice.Generates relevant reports on a weekly or monthly basis as necessary.Reports any urgent matters to Pharmacy Director and offer possible solutions.Ensures that new Staff receives proper orientation concerning policies & procedures on Clinical Pharmacy practice.Participates in relevant Hospital Committees such as Nutritional Support Committee, Antibiotic Review Committee and any other Committee as and when required.Performs other duties within the realm of his qualifications and experience as directed by Pharmacy Director.

Specialized Knowledge:Fluent in Arabic and English.PC Literate (desirable)
