Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Material Manager in monitoring, management and planning of material (stock items) required within the hospital organization.
- Monitor stock level and duplication of items.
- Execute and print stock reorder profiles for procurement if and when necessary based on item stocking levels.
- Liaise regularly with Heads of Department and staff in regards to their stock requirements.
- Prepares various reports in relation to Material Management.
- Provides assistance and advice on stock issues to all hospital staff when required.
- Assign unique stock numbers for items to be added in the hospital stock catalogue.
- Performs other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his knowledge.
