Job Summary : 

the Senior Medical Informatics Specialist Cardiovascular Information Systems is responsible 

for enabling promoting and supporting the effective use of data , information ,knowledge and technology . this will aid in supporting and improving health care delivery and research by assisting the development  and implementation of the Hospital information Systems. The medical Informatics Specialist  coordinates activities , gathers information requirements for Medical Informatics  projects. In particular , Cardiovascular Information systems and Cardiovascular  Imaging related applications and projects.

Education / Licensure :

Essential:  Bachelor's Degree in Medical / Paramedical, Health Informatics computer Information Systems , science or engineering.

Desirable: 

Master Degree in   Health Informatics , Medical Informatics or  computer Information Systems science or engineering.

Professional Experience : 

Essential : 

Minimum of Tow (2) years experience holding a bachelor Degree or One (1) year for Master Degree holders in IT , experience  in health feld informatics and familiarity with hospital information systems in healthcare.

Essential

Excellent IT Skills 

Familiarity with healthcare environment and standards 

Good Communications and interpersonal skills 

Self-motivated with awareness of current trends in the field 

Ability to work in multi-cultural environment 

Ability to work in workgroups and as a team member .

Ability to speak and write and read English 

Desirable : 

Experience and good knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP And PRINCE II.

Familiarity with IT  Governance and Control frameworks such as COBIT 

Familiarity with change management and benefit management tools and techniques 

Familiarity with process modelling and business process reengineering (BPR) 

Certification of PACS Administration from ABII or PARCA
