Duties and Responsibilities
3.1 Assess and prioritize the patient family educational needs for in patients and out
patients.
3.2 Identifu patient's educational problems, determine goals, develop plans and monitor
the progress while providing an ongoing support to the patients and their families.
3.3 Develop, implement the educational plan, and evaluate the effectiveness of the
provided education.
3.4 Document the given educational instructions and the discharge planning activities
according to departmental and hospital standards and PPGs.
3.5 Make a daily rounds orland attend clinics as required to ensure that the patient
assessment for the educational needs are met.
3.6 Maintain confidentiality of all patients, staff and hospital communications
Skills
6.1 English/Arabiclanguageproficiency.
6.2 Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
