Abides by the Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations
of the Medical Staff and those specific to the deparlment.
3.2 Carries out fulI range of clinical duties as assigned by the ConsultanVSenior
Registrar Radiologist in accordance with individually approved clinical privileges.
3.3 To provide and maintain, under the supervision of the Consultant the highest
possible standard of diagnostic examinations.
3.4 To strictly follow the radiation protection procedures.
3.5 To assist the Consultant in performing diagnostic radiological examination or
therapeutic procedures as required.
3.6 Rotates through each imaging sub-specialty as required by the Director of
Radiodiagnostic & Medical Imaging.
3.7 Will be required to attend clinicaVradiological meetings and all other departmental
meeting

Participates in the on-call duties as required by the department.
3.9 To work towards completing his postgraduate training and passing the Final part of
the Saudi Board or Fellowship.
3.10 Fullfills the requirements of the Saudi Council for Health Specialties with regard to
continuing medical education.
3.1 1 Participates in approved research projects.
3.12 Shares workload in his specialty during the absence of his colleagues.
3. 1 3 Instructs and guides when necessary junior medical staff in the overall care of
patients, supervising their performance/work and contributes to the training and
teaching activities in the deparfment.
3.14 Strives to improve his clinical expertise as well as standard of practice with regard to
morbidity and cost effectiveness.
3.15 Participates in the Major Disaster Plan of the Hospital, as indicated.
3. I 6 Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/trer
knowledge, skills and abilities, within the hospital and/or affiliated medical facilities.

specialty.
