• The actual cooking of assigned patient menus.
• Perform food preparation duties that include, washing vegetables, peeling, chopping, meat and poultry cutting and deboning, seasoning of food and food tasting.
• Cook a variety of food items from the Ala Carte menu.
• Cook variety of menus for banquets and special events.
• Ensures that all cooked food are wholesome and that is fit for human consumption.
• Adhere to the highest standards of food production and food safety.

• Must be able to meet deadlines for daily duties and assignments.
• Depth knowledge of proper food production theories and methods.
• Ability to read and write production sheets with ease.
• Must adhere to the departmental sanitation and cleaning procedure.
